A good day for visitors! We had Jake Hine from Qdos in to see the show, on his travels around the Qdos circuit. Daniel Dawson called in on his travels for his http://www.pantoinsider.com site, and their annual Panto Awards. lovely to meet up with him again, along with fellow Dame Lee Redwood who came to the evening show after finishing his matinee in Weymouth!

Lee, Daniel and me!

Lee was the villain in Ashleigh & Pudsey’s “Mission Impudsible” during the summer- a very jolly show I caught at Dartford. Lovely to see him again. The three of us managed a quick meal in a nearby restaurant, and I headed off to the Derngate’s Christmas Party.

Another visitor from Theatreland today was Emma Williams, up to see the panto and her other half, James our drummer. I saw Emma in “Mrs Henderson Presents” playing Maureen in the West End after its transfer from Chichester. She is currently in “Half A Sixpence” at the Noel Coward Theatre, and set off for the evening show after the matinee here.

The Derngate party was in full swing when I got there- a great evening. Apologies for the quality of the photos, but it was very dark! Simon (Webbe) got together with the DJ and we got a free concert- not every day you get serenaded by a Blue Star! Thanks Simon!

Jalisa with Nigel. The trio on the right Craig, Ricky and John.

Penny with Taylor. Nigel & Jordan.

Meanwhile, over at Manchester Opera House my mate Sherrie was celebrating their “Aladdin” opening night along with Ben Adams and John Thompson.I’ll be catching up with all her news first week of January.035
